Call for Performers for Green T Productions’ Trojan Women
Men and women 16 years old and up.
Green T Productions is in need of volunteer chorus members for the final scene of our upcoming adaptation of Euripides’ play “Trojan Women.” We are drawing inspiration from a Balinese form of choral chant and movement called kecak. Kecak is a form of music drama, that includes stylized movement and a percussive chanting style.
“Trojan Women” chorus members will attend one workshop on Sun. Oct 2 from 5 pm to 7 pm to learn the chanting style. Then you will need to attend tech and dress rehearsals and all performances.
No experience is needed but you must be available for all rehearsals and performances.
Green T’s studio is #600 in the Cowles Center (formerly the Hennepin Center for the Arts) at 528 Hennepin Ave.
